Hi! I'm a user researcher interested in building and improving technologies that increase access to learning, information, and economic opportunity. I enjoy digging into all types of data and making sense of data in order to develop actionable insights.
I was in a PhD program for a few years where I developed my UX and design research chops (and worked with amazing advisors - Professor June Ahn and Professor Tamara Clegg), but I decided to leave early to work on more applied projects. I have an undergraduate degree in economics and a graduate degree in human-computer interaction.
Currently, I am a research fellow at Digital Promise where I help organizations conduct research on education initiatives and products. Before that I worked on technology research and design initiatives with the Council of Chief State School Officers, D.C. Public Schools, PBS Education, and Imagine Learning.
